Pfizer Skills-Based Volunteers Help Fight Pneumonia in India
|
In May, eleven employees from Pfizer’s Vaccines Unit participated in a skills-based volunteer assignment in India. Working alongside our Global Health colleagues, the Pfizer team used their business and technical expertise to recommend innovative, scalable interventions to accelerate the reduction of childhood pneumonia, ultimately supporting our long-term commitment to ensure no child dies from preventable causes before their fifth birthday.

Disney VoluntEARS “Kit for Kids”
Disney VoluntEARS celebrated 35 years with a “Global Week of Service” in June by teaming up with Save the Children at over 20 sites in the US, China, and India to assemble over 20,000 early education and emergency comfort kits for kids in need.
Save the Children delivers these kits to the most vulnerable children - those affected by last year’s hurricanes in the United States, including Puerto Rico, as well as those in our programs in China and India.
