Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche
ANNOUNCEMENT:
Long Life Ceremony
for Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche
at Ewam Sang-ngag Ling in Arlee, MT
June 30, 2016 9am-1pm MDT
at the Garden of One Thousand Buddhas
Arlee, MT

We all deeply love and appreciate our beloved teacher, Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche. Due to his unceasing kindness, we have had the incredible good fortune to receive amazing practices, teachings, and blessings to guide us on the path to enlightenment.

For many years, Rinpoche has showered us with his untiring generosity. Now we have an opportunity to show him our profound gratitude.

The Purpose of a Tenzhug/ Long-life ceremony
for H.E Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche:

As highly realized masters advance in age, their inner realization increases and their enlightened activities expand. With that, various inner, outer and secret obstacles can increase, too.

The traditional long-life offering, or tenzhug, serves to remove obstacles, increase life span and gather the causes for the continued flourishing of Rinpoche's enlightened activity. Tenzhug is also a skillful means by which students can repair any breakages in samaya. These breakages create hindrances for our own practice and for Rinpoche as well. Such a ceremony is a very powerful and extraordinary method to request our precious teacher to remain for a long time and turn the wheel of the dharma ceaselessly.

This long-life ceremony has been offered for Rinpoche in Asia but never before in the West. We hope that all of Rinpoche's students will take advantage of this opportunity to show our deep care and commitment for Rinpoche. Let us come together with one voice and pure devotion in prayer for Rinpoche's long life to be filled with good health and bountiful, enlightened activities.

Representations of enlightened body, speech, and mind and many other precious offerings have been custom made in Nepal, Bhutan and Taiwan for this ceremony. Those living nearby can attend personally and make monetary offerings on that day. T hose unable to attend in person may make offerings for the event in order to create an auspicious connection in support of the ceremony by clicking below to the website home page.
