CorvetteParts.net / Can-Am - Matt DiBenedetto Race Advance
Matt DiBenedetto and the CorvetteParts.net team look for redemption at Martinsville Speedway.

Race 33 of 36:
Martinsville Speedway marks the 33rd stop of the season for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. One of the circuits most unique racetracks, Martinsville is the site of some of the best racing on the circuit. Matt DiBenedetto and the No.32 CorvetteParts.net team will be tackling the half-mile racetrack hoping to get some redemption on an earlier season run.

Finishing What Started In the Spring:
Matt DiBenedetto and the No.32 team had an extremely fast racecar in the spring, but fell victim to a cut tire after contact with another driver. Starting from the 28th position, DiBenedetto had taken his CorvetteParts.net team forward. Unfortunately, with as congested as race and lap-traffic can be at Martinsville, contact with other cars is almost inevitable. While lapping another car, DiBenedetto received some damage that lead to a cut-tire, ending a really good race for the team. The CorvetteParts.net team would have likely come home with a 25th to 28th place finish, but was stuck were stuck finishing 35th after the crash with less than 100 laps to go.

The Drive to Beat Breast Cancer:
This week's CorvetteParts.net Ford will have a different look to it. This week, Tom and T.J. Keen from CorvetteParts.net decided to run a pink and white scheme representing Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The team has also created a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) allowing fans to donate through the Go Fas Racing team's social media pages. One lucky fan will be chosen to win a pair of pit passes and will be a guest of the team this weekend. Regardless of what fan is chosen, each fan is helping the Breast Cancer Research Foundation advance the world's most promising research. The BCRF provides critical funding for cancer research worldwide to fuel advances in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, metastasis and survivorship.

Last Week for the No.32 Team:
Kansas Speedway was kind to the No.32 team this time around. The Can-Am Ford qualified 30th quick - a qualifying effort that was not indicative of the speed the team had in practice. DiBenedetto quickly moved forward as the race went on and caught a few timely cautions that kept the team on the lead lap. The pit crew for the Can-Am/Kappa team picked up several spots for DiBenedetto and was integral for the No.32 to stay on the lead lap at many points throughout the race. There was a massive crash with about 70 laps to go that DiBenedetto expertly navigated through, finding himself in the 13th position. The team fought hard over the last couple of restarts ultimately finding themselves finishing 22nd - a lead lap finish.

DiBenedetto on Martinsville Speedway:
"Martinsville is a track that I grew up racing at actually. I really enjoy the short-tracks on our schedule because they allow us to run a little bit better than usual. We usually don't qualify that great, but in the race we really start moving forward. Gene usually has a really good setup for the long-run at Martinsville, so we're hoping we can continue to capitalize on the long-runs and stay as close to the lead lap as possible."

Chassis Info: Crew Chief Gene Nead will be bringing chassis GFR-943 to serve as the primary car this weekend.
