AED Machine

We are so grateful for our PTO and our Booster Club which gifted our school and parish with an AED machine. One is located in the gym and the other is located just outside the cafeteria in our parish center. In a time of crisis, these machines can save lives. The machine provides vocal guidance for the user.   The following video is also helpful:

Our PTO directly helps our school in many ways. Our students and teachers are so thankful for their most recent gift of 40 iPads! The weekly Lenten Fish Fry is one of their biggest fundraisers and allows our PTO to be able to give such wonderful gifts to our students. Morning Carpool Reminder

From 6:00-7:00, Morning Care is offered for all students  at our daycare building for a daily fee of $3.00. From 7:00-7:30, grades PK4-2 are allowed to go the Cougar Den and staff members are on hand to supervise students. Grades 3-8 are supervised in the library.  There is no fee charged.  At 7:30, regular morning supervision begins in the courtyard and middle school classrooms.  After 7:30, Grades K-8 parents are welcome to park behind the rectory and walk your students into school. Preschool parents may park in the upper lot by the daycare and walk with their students. Students should not be dropped off in our main parking lot after 7:30. If you are dropping your students off by car, you must go through the carpool line.  Students are not allowed to be dropped off in any parking lot. These measures are in place for the safety of our students. Likewise, parents in K-8 are welcome to park behind the rectory in the afternoon and walk to the carpool area to pick up their children. Students are not allowed to walk unsupervised to cars that are parked on our campus in areas other than the carpool area. As stated previously, these measures are in place to protect your children. Students who live nearby are certainly able to walk to and from school, but we ask that you please fill out a walker form. These forms can be found in the office or you may ask your child's teacher to send one home with your student. Thank you for supporting the safety measures we have in place to protect our students.  As always, please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns or suggestions.

Sun Protection Education Program
We are participating in a Sun Protection Education Program this year. Throughout the year our students, parents and teachers will be getting information about protecting their skin from sun damage and learn about skin conditions caused by sun exposure. Our participation in this program will help Corpus Christi be eligible for a grant sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology. The money awarded through the grant will be allocated to purchasing and installing a walkway between the main building and the preschool building.

Bible Verse

Each month students learn a Bible verse, and recite it together at school during our morning prayers.  We also pray a particular prayer each month.

Our Bible verse focus for the month of February is Matthew 6:33

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

Our prayer focus is the Act of Contrition.
