PTA is again offering to have your child's supplies on his/her desk on the first day of school.  School supplies for the 2017-2018 school year may 
ONLY be o rdered online at

The order deadline is June 30th. School supplies will not be available through the HCEPTA website or the HCEPTA beyond June 30th. 

If you choose not to purchase through the PTA, grade level supply lists will be available on the HCEPTA website and in the front office. Prices for the 2017-2018 school supply packs are as follows:

MRS. DOMASCHK'S GARDEN

The week of May 22nd was a busy week in Mrs. Domaschk's Garden. We were blessed to have a great crew of volunteers, organized by Karen North, work in this newly dedicated garden area on campus.  They spent hours and donated resources to re-do the granite paths, weed and plant in the planters and trim the shrubs.  It looks great!  Thanks to help from...

2017-2018 School Year: Forms for all medications must be signed every school year by parent and doctor.  Please bring all forms signed by parent and doctor with the medicine BEFORE the first day of school.  The clinic will be opened August 1st and you can email or call to set up a time to deliver. 
 
All forms can be found at the link below. If prescription please have MD signature on prescription form.  Non-prescription for over the counter meds only needs parent signature.

PTA President's Perspective
 
I can't believe the end of school is already here!  What an amazing year we've had! 
 
I have a few final Thank You's to close out the year.  Nan Chandler did a wonderful job on our "Cougar Apptitude" yearbook!  Thank you for all the time and effort you put into creating a yearbook for our school.  It turned out perfect and is a great representation of the year we had. 
 
Thank you to Victoria Donnelly, Elizabeth Womble and ALL the volunteers who helped make Winds of Time a success!  We appreciate all you have done.  As always, it is a special HCE tradition that never gets old! 
 
Finally, I wanted to say THANK YOU to all the fantastic volunteers and faculty members who are so dedicated to making HCE a wonderful place for our children.  We are so lucky to be part of this special school.  It has been my privilege to serve with you this school year.   Thanks for everyone's support!

Don't forget to complete your ANNUAL VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION. 

You need to do 2 things to complete your annual volunteer registration. 
1.  Register with SBISD at  https://volunteer.springbranchisd.com/
2.  Attend a training at school the first day or in the first few weeks of school.

iKids U registration is going on now for the Summer(at Bunkerhill Elem) & 2017-2018  School Year!  

Turn in registrations at the HCE front office, visit iKids online at www.ikidsinc.com, or register by phone at 713-665-5200.  iKids U offers a variety of onsite after-school opportunities at HCE including Stay & Play, Enrichment classes, and One on One services.  Customize your child's after-school schedule with part-time and full-time options available!  iKids U starts on the first day of school and classes are filling-up fast so enroll today!
