Unparalleled Real Estate
PREMIUM PROTECTION

Financing your home with a mortgage? If so, your lender will require you to have homeowners insurance before funding the loan to protect yourself, and themselves, in the event of damage caused by an unexpected disaster. A home is probably the largest asset most people will ever have and losing yours could be catastrophic. Be vigilant in reviewing your insurance policies every two years to ensure you have adequate coverage for your present lifestyle.

The recent rash of fires in Northern California has compelled many people to get recent appraisals for their valuables to expedite a claim settlement, should one ever need to be filed. Choose a company with a reputation for great customer service since you may be dealing with them during a most stressful time. Feel free to contact me if you need a referral to a local appraiser or insurance broker.
MARKET SNAPSHOT

The real estate market has leveled off during the last days of summer, as expected (school is in-session; final vacations are squeezed in before the season ends).

Of the 680 Active listings in Marin County (including Contingent & Pending), 47% are in contract. We remain in a Seller's market, which begins when this figure is 40%.

Interest rates have held steady but two prime rate adjustments are expected before the year ends (September, December). Don't be caught off-guard; lock in your rate now.

While inventory remains tight, I am privy to several exciting off-market properties on the horizon. Contact me if you have not been able to find what you are searching for in Marin County as most of these fabulous properties sell before ever reaching the MLS.
