The Friends of Cranberry Public Library are a group of library lovers who work to benefit the library by holding annual book sales, sponsoring interesting programs, and volunteering at library events. You can give as much or as little time as you'd like.

Dues are only  $5.00 per year, payable in January. Or, become a lifetime member for a one-time payment of $50.

November 2016

Tween Art Club
Tuesday, November 1 from 4-5PM
Kids in grades 4-6 are welcome to join Ms. Rachael in the Young Adult area of the library for an art project. No registration necessary.

Cranberry Adult Discussion Group
Thursday, November 3 & 17 @ 10AM
 
If you enjoy talking about current events that are shaping our world this is the group for you. No registration required, simply drop in for lively, open-minded discussion.

Tail Waggin' Tutors
Thursday, November 3 @ 6:30PM
Elementary school children can practice reading to one of our dog tutors! Online registration is required for a 20 minute reading session.

Pittsburgh's Ghost Bomber and Other Pennsylvania Mysteries
Sunday, November 6 from 1:30-3:30PM
In partnership with the Cranberry Township Historical Society, we are pleased to welcome back Dr. Andrew Masich, President and CEO of the Heinz History Center. Reservations are required for this program.

First Editions Book Club
Monday, November 7 @ 7PM
Join us for a discussion of  Beneath the Marble Sky by John Shors.  Copies of the title are available for checkout at the Circulation Desk.

Tinkering Tweens & Teens
Wednesdays, November 9 & 23 from 4-5PM
Stop by the Young Adult area to create, make, invent, experiment, or build with Ms. Rachael. This is a drop-in program, no registration is required.

Homeschool Crafternoon
Thursday, November 10 from 1-2PM
Come, make a craft, and hang out with other homeschooled kids! For children ages 6-11.

Our Teen Advisory Board (TAB) plays an important role in the Cranberry Library by helping to plan events and by giving input on new books, DVDs, and music for the teen collection.

Come and hang out with other kids who love LEGO for a full hour of laid back building. Tweens in grades 4-6.

Books and Bagels Book Club
Wednesday, November 16 from 10AM-Noon
The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion is November's selected title. Pick up a copy at the Circulation Desk to read before the discussion.

Budding Builders
Thursday, November 17 from 4-5PM
For 1st-3rd graders. Meet on the third Thursday of each month with Ms. Rachael for an hour of free building with other LEGO enthusiasts. 

Fourth Thursday Book Club
