The Manhattan Beach Police Department is looking to the community for assistance in solving recent burglaries. The crimes took place during the night on October 18, 2011 at the Raleigh Studios in Manhattan Beach. Multiple offices were burglarized and numerous items stolen.
Based on the investigation thus far, it appears a lone male suspect used a pry tool to gain access into the studio offices. The suspect, who was caught on surveillance cameras during the crime has yet to be identified.
Included in the stolen property is a cowboy hat, which the suspect can be seen wearing while committing his crimes.

1900 block of Pacific Av
(Theft from Vehicle) Unknown suspect(s) stole an iPod, cell phone, phone charger and ear buds from the center console of an unlocked vehicle that was parked in front of the residence.
12/28/11 - 12/29/11 11 p.m. - 8 a.m.
3500 block of N Alma Av
(Burglary from Vehicle) Unknown suspect(s) smashed the front driver's side window of the locked vehicle that was parked in the driveway and stole a leather case containing two laptops. The case had been on top of the center console.
12/27/11 - 12/28/11 10:30 p.m. - 8:45 a.m.
1300 block of 1st St
(Burglary from Vehicle) The victim parked and locked her vehicle in the driveway and returned to find the dome light on and glove box open.
Unknown suspect(s) had taken cash, two pairs of sunglasses, a shirt and sound booster for the stereo. There was no sign of forced entry to the vehicle.

700 block of 36th St
(Theft from Vehicle) Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's unlocked vehicle and removed a car stereo, a leather briefcase containing a checkbook, a radio receiver, sunglasses, gas cards and miscellaneous DVDs.

700 block of 36th St
(Theft from Vehicle) The victim's unlocked vehicle was parked in the driveway when unknown suspect(s) entered the vehicle and took prescription sunglasses and cash from the center console.
12/23/11 - 12/24/11 Noon - 8:45 a.m.
600 block of 19th St
(Theft from Vehicle) Unknown suspect(s) stole pamphlets, books and other miscellaneous literature from an unlocked vehicle that was parked in front of the residence.

2400 block of Elm Av
(Theft from Vehicle) The victim parked the unlocked vehicle in the driveway and returned to find several items missing including clothing, a purse containing ID and checks, a phone charger, CDs, and shoes. No suspects were seen or heard.

3500 block of Flournoy Rd
(Stolen Vehicle) The victim parked the vehicle, and forgot to lock it, leaving the keys inside. Unknown suspect(s) stole the vehicle.
12/26/11 10 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
600 block of 33rd St
(Burglary from Vehicle) Unknown suspect(s) smashed the driver side window of the vehicle that was parked on the street. Items that had been in the center console were found on the seat, but nothing appeared to be missing.
12/20/11 10 a.m. - 5:10 p.m.
1500 block of 2nd St
(Residential Burglary) The victim secured the residence prior to leaving and returned to find the front door unlocked and the house ransacked.
Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence by prying open a bedroom window and emptied the contents of jewelry boxes, using a pillow case to carry the items from the home. Several items were moved about and a laptop was also taken from the office.

1500 block of Laurel Av
(Theft from Vehicle) Unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway and rummaged through it. A denim bag that had been in the car was found on the ground nearby. A small amount of cash was missing from the bag.

300 block of S. Dianthus
(Residential Burglary) The victims secured the residence upon leaving. Unknown suspect(s) kicked in a panel on the front door making a hole.
Suspect(s) entered the residence, ransacked several rooms, unwrapped presents and stole jewelry.
