A Beautiful Life...Hailey's Story*

Just starting community college and dreaming of a career in fashion and beauty, Hailey is the picture of any young woman just getting started in life. But her life wasn't always picture perfect.

Believe it or not, Hailey was homeless. She didn't know where she would sleep or even when she would have her next meal. After a year of not having a home, she found her way to Florence Crittenton's Transitional Living program.

Here she doesn't have to worry about where she sleeps, allowing Hailey to focus on becoming financially accountable. She participates in internships that give her vital job skills and a source of income to pay her rent, food and other bills. She also volunteers with 1 in 10, joining in a dance class with fellow participants.

Thanks to the Transitional Living program, Hailey is gaining the confidence to stand on her own. She is focused on her future and has the determination to succeed. With a passion for fashion and beauty, she has her sights set on attending the Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy - one of the most sought-after cosmetology academies in the industry. And we know she can do it!

Supporter Spotlight - Arizona Community Foundation

Thank you to Arizona Community Foundation for recently awarding Florence Crittenton a $20,000 grant. The funds will provide technology to assist our Residential Education program, which allows the agency to meet the educational needs of the girls receiving services through our Therapeutic Group Home.

This year, Arizona Community Foundation has donated nearly $800,000 to 54 nonprofit organizations across Arizona.

Thank you for helping to bring hope to life for the young women in Florence Crittenton's Therapeutic Group Home. We truly appreciate your past and present support!
