Florence Crittenton is excited to announce that Unlimited Possibilities for Learning Independence for Today (U.P.L.I.F.T.), a new housing program that helps meet a great need in the community, has launched this summer.
The program embraces the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) evidence-based Permanent Supportive Housing Practices Model as the core approach to delivering housing with culturally responsive and supportive services.
Florence Crittenton's U.P.L.I.F.T. Program employs this vision in partnership with the young women's personal goals to achieve recovery, resilience and self-sufficiency. The foremost goal of Florence Crittenton's U.P.L.I.F.T. Program is to provide high-quality, safe, stable and affordable permanent housing options for female Behavioral Health Tenants living with a serious mental illness. To ensure the young women maintain successful permanent housing, the program will encourage participation in specialty support services.
