Myrna Ann Adkins and Bruce Koranski of the Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning will provide tips on how to build positive relationships and avoid embarrassing pitfalls. Attendees will have an opportunity to participate in simulations at this fun, interactive and informative session of the Global Business Forum. Myrna Ann AdkinsMyrna Ann Adkins is President/CEO of the Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning, a cross-cultural training organization in Denver, Colorado, which works with businesses, government agencies, cultural entities, and other community groups to provide both direct service to clients and consulting and training services. Ms. Adkins teaches a course on cross-cultural communication for the World Trade Center's Certificate program, provides cross-cultural training for businesses, and is on the Advisory Board of the IMBA program at Denver University. Ms. Adkins has a Master's Degree in Far Eastern Studies from The University of Michigan.
  

Bruce KoranskiBruce Koranski provides dynamic training/executive coaching for businesses desiring cross-cultural/diversity/harassment prevention.  Mr. Koranski emphasizes not only raising awareness but also building skills to enhance cross-cultural interactions, build relationships, meet international deadlines and resolve cultural conflict.  Fortune Five Hundred organizations he has trained include the Disney Corporation, StorageTek, United Defense, and Newmont Mining. Mr. Koranski was formerly Director of Planning and Development at the Center for Teaching International Relations, University of Denver, for thirteen years.  Bruce has worked overseas in Saudi Arabia and has been consulting with the Spring Institute for 22 years.
