Whole Life Challenge starts this Saturday!

It's Time for a (Nice) Kick in the Pants...

Sept. 19th we are kicking off our
Whole Life Challenge
and hosting a
Lift Up Autism awareness campaign.
This Saturday we're kicking off CrossFit Edmonton's Whole Life Challenge team, and we wanted to invite you to join.

The Whole Life Challenge is an 8-week online, community- building, habit-changing game that challenges you and your friends to create happier, healthier lives by making small, daily changes.

Over the eight-week online challenge, we're going to work on daily habits such as:

nutrition
exercise
stretching
hydration
sleep
meditation

It's a pretty neat concept and a great experience.
If you want to give it a deeper look, and possibly join our team, click here:

Registration is open and the Challenge starts this Saturday. If you're in, you're going to want to register on the site by Saturday in order to get on the team (and earn maximum points).

We hope we'll see you on the team, and in the Challenge!

This Saturday's workout will be our Teams "test" WOD

"LUKE"  and either a 2k Row or 1K Run

The next 56 days participants  will:
  • Live by the 7 daily habits
  • Record scores each day
  • Reflect
  • Interact with CFE team
  • Watch the leaderboard!
After 8 week of the challenge, on November 14th,  we will re-do our "test" WOD.

What is Lift Up Autism?

"Josh Everett, TrainHeroic, and the CrossFitâ„¢ community rallied together in spectacular fashion to support the Autism community in a worldwide workout event called LiftUpLuke on October of 2013.

This "competition for a cause" specifically sought to support early diagnosis and treatment of Autism, raise funds for the Autism Tree Project Foundation in San Diego, and most importantly, turn a global spotlight on the measured and severe impact of Autism on families and individuals around the world."

We have contacted Josh at Lift Up Autism to let him know that CrossFit Edmonton wanted to participate in the event but wanted any donations to go to Canadian charities.

"This is all about awareness and we'd be happy if you participated and donated any cash donations that your members bring to the event to the local charity of your choice.
 Josh"

Our members Ange and Joanna have suggested a few charities where donations can be made.

If you  would like to donate at the door please  bring $5 and CFE will donate to the charity of choice.
