Grant Expands Dental Program
Have you been to the dentist this year? Thousands of people in Richmond have not.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nearly one-third of all adults in the United States have untreated tooth decay and one in seven adults aged 35 to 44 years old has periodontal (gum) disease.

These dental issues can have significant impacts on a persons health and well being.

Regular hygiene visits are key to preventing and recovering from these problems

We are very thankful for a grant from the Virginia Health Care Foundation(VHCF) that has helped to expand CrossOver’s Dental Program, with a particular focus on increasing access to oral hygiene services and education.

Through this grant, CrossOver has been able to hire additional dental hygienists and increase the number of patients receiving dental hygiene services. Hygiene visits are the first step in many patients’ treatment plans.

Thank you Virginia Health Care Foundation for helping to put smiles on our patient's faces!
