This week we conclude the series When Faith Meets Life by looking at the reality that each of us encounters circumstances in our lives that cause us to question and doubt. Faith is not the absence of doubt, but the ability to move forward in the face of uncertainty when all of our questions aren't neatly answered. This weekend you can experience a powerful and helpful teaching on this topic.

Hope After Harvey/Irma Benefit Concert Update!


Last Saturday evening our community came together to enjoy more than 70 local musicians and dancers perform to raise funds for hurricane relief.  More than $2000 was collected and sent to UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) who sends 100% to those in need.

A special thanks to Tina Smothers for spearheading this great event and
to the over 200 people who attended!

"Shedding New Light on Raising Teens"
A Workshop for Parents

Sunday, October 15th, 2017

You're invited to participate in a powerful workshop presented by Heather Kirby (LCSW and CSAC) where you'll learn new ways to navigate some of the more difficult interactions with your teens and tweens. 

Heather will offer a fresh perspective and effective strategies to help parents to better understand, connect with, and guide their children through the difficult adolescent years - on mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. She'll also address the pressures and anxieties that teens face and how to be supportive, present, and encouraging so they can thrive. This workshop could dramatically enhance your enjoyment of parenting over the next several years!

This workshop is offered free to the community.

FALL SPIRITUAL GROWTH FOR ADULTS
STUDENTS
Sundays 9am the Discipleship Room - Middle School student focused 
Sundays 11am in the Discipleship Room - High School student focused 

Intersect takes "Sunday School" to the next level! Through engaging videos, short readings, interactive games, and lively conversation, we dive deep into Scripture and have a lot of fun along the way! Starting this Fall, Intersect curriculum and activities will be designed with two distinct age levels in mind.
