Many thanks to Terry Schwirtz (shown in picture) and his crew for recently installing all the drywall in Tamarack Cabin at Pine Lake Camp. In addition, many volunteers from Trinity, Waupaca and First English, Oshkosh have worked hard to totally renovate Tamarack cabin this winter. When completed, the cabin will be renamed "Len's Place" in honor of Len Place from First English, Oshkosh who volunteered over 54 years for Crossways. Len was honored at the Appreciation Dinner in November and will also be recognized at the Crossways Annual Meeting this Saturday. For more information about how you can volunteer or contribute toward this tribute to Len Place, please contact Jake at 920-882-0023.
"Give Thanks and Remember" -Philippians 1:3

2015 has been a year of much growth and change
as we strengthened our infrastructure, balanced the budget, hired new staff, made significant capital improvements, engaged our alumni, improved communication and developed new programs for
the summer and second season (school year).

As we prepare for our Annual Meeting this Saturday, February 13th I am reminded of the many people
who serve and support the Mission of Crossways Camping Ministries. We give thanks to the congregations, individuals, businesses and
foundations that have offered time, talent and
treasure over the past 74 years. We are grateful
to all the volunteers who provide manual labor at
our three sites, serve on our board and committees
and help us promote the ministry of Crossways in
their congregations or community.

We take time also to remember those who have preceded us in building up the ministry of
Crossways Camping Ministries over the past 74
years. From our humble beginnings in 1942 on
Shadow Lake in Waupaca County to our three sites today we are grateful and remember those who
have built a firm foundation for us today. As I
mentioned at the annual meeting last year: we are standing on the shoulders of our predecessors so
we can have the Vision to continue to carry out the
good work of our Lord in outdoor ministry. Please support our continued efforts to reach out to those
who have not yet experienced Crossways Camping Ministries so they too can "give thanks and remember" for the life changing experience of coming together in Christ.
In Christ's Service,
Jake Czarnik-Neimeyer
