Sharing the Work of the Spirit at
FUMC Midlothian
Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Pastor's Notes
|
In March of 2004, our church voted in a charge conference to create the Legacies Endowment Fund. The vision for this endowment fund was to provide the church with an opportunity to leave gifts that would continue to bear fruit for the ministry of the church.
As our growing stewardship can attest, our church is generous. We're generous because it is an expression of our love for and gratitude toward God. We're generous because we want to see the ministry of the church continue to expand. We want to see Midlothian transformed by the work that God accomplishes through us. One of the necessary steps for us to take in seeing this vision out is to prayerfully consider supporting the church through the Legacies Endowment Fund.
On Friday evening, we'll gather in the Family Life Center for a meal beginning at 6:00 PM. Jon Mollet, a representative from Texas Methodist Foundation, will share some information with us, along with our Legacies Endowment Committee and me. There will be time for questions and answers. Everything should wrap up around 7:30 PM. If you are interested in receiving information, please join us. If you plan to come, please RSVP with the church office at (972) 775-3993 before close on Wednesday. There is no pressure to make any decision on Friday. We just want to communicate the vision for the Legacies Endowment Fund and the possibilities of what it can do for our church.
Blessings,
Pastor Brady

Thank You
|
To My Awesome Church Family, thank you so much for all the prayers, cards and well-wishes as I endured the anticipation and then the treatment for the tumor on my ear. All went well. What a wonderful day it was Sunday to have so many of you bless me with your hugs and smiles at church. I don't know how anyone endures the trials of life without such a wonderful church family. Thanks to all of you. Joy Price
