Class registration for quilters will open at 10 a.m. central on Wednesday, March 22.

About Cruise Classes
  • Class registration will open to quilters at 10 a.m. central Wednesday, March 22.
  • Registration will be limited to those who registered as quilters only for three weeks - from March 22 to April 12.
  • You may select up to 10 classes, which are included with your cruise registration, along with any of the free evening sessions. The evening sessions are free but space is limited and you must register to attend.
  • All class sizes are limited and registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Beginning April 12, registration will be opened for non-quilters and quilters who wish to purchase additional classes. Classes with availability may be purchased for $30 each. (Quilters who have not yet registered for their 10 classes will still be able to do so free of charge, even after the April 12 date).
  • If space is available, non-quilters may also register for the "free" evening classes, such as maintenance, at no charge, on or after April 12.
  • Specific lunch and breakfast times are not designated in the schedule.  There are many meal options available on board the ship. Please allow time for breakfast and lunch when planning your classes.

Transfers
Royal Caribbean transfers from the ship to the airport are still available. Please note that Royal Caribbean has adjusted the latest flight on arrival times for both the George Bush and Hobby flights by 30 minutes.

George Bush International: Latest flight on arrival is 11 a.m. and the earliest flight on departure is 12:30 p.m.

Hobby International: Latest flight on arrival is 12 p.m. and the earliest flight on departure is 12 p.m.

The following information will be needed when booking a transfer: Names, Carrier, Flight Number, Departure Date, Origin City, Departure Time, Arrival Date, Destination City, arrival time.

May 14 - Day 1: Depart from Galveston, Texas at 4 p.m.
A delightful destination, this island offers sandy beaches, boutiques and top-notch dining. Once on board, join your fellow quilters for a welcome reception (time tba). At 5:30 p.m. our group has a dining reservation in the main dining hall.
 
May 15 - Day 2: Education at Sea
Pick from 19 classes from world-renowned educators. In your free time, enjoy all the amenities offered on the Liberty of the Seas. At 5:30 p.m. our group has a dining reservation in the main dining hall.
 
May 16 - Day 3: Education at Sea
Pick from 19 classes from world-renowned educators. In your free time, enjoy all the amenities offered on the Liberty of the Seas. At 5:30 p.m. our group has a dining reservation in the main dining hall.
 
May 17- Day 4: Roatan, Honduras
Docked 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Roatan welcomes divers and snorkelers eager to explore the thriving coral reef. Boaters, beachgoers, and water fans enjoy the sparkling seas, too. The island also has a multicultural population, some descended from pirates. Take time to wander the area, taking in the sights and beauty surrounding you. Click here for more about this port.   May 18 - Day 5: Costa Maya, Mexico
Docked 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
With sparkling sands and turquoise seas, Costa Maya is a relaxing destination w here you can swim and sun, explore the coral reef offshore or Maya ruins in the jungle.   May 19 - Day 6: Cozumel, Mexico
Docked 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cozumel features great diving, snorkeling and beaches, marine-life encounters, botanical gardens, trails and shopping in the town of San Miguel. The nearby mainland is home to Tulum, Mayan cliffside ruins overlooking the Caribbean. Explore the ruins of the ancient city or the underwater world of Chankanaab aboard the Atlantis Submarine. Click here for more about this port. May 20 - Day 7: Education at Sea
Enjoy your final day at sea with your fellow Gammill quilters. Pick from 18 classes from world-renowned educators. In your free time, enjoy all the amenities offered on the Liberty of the Seas. At 5:30 p.m. our group has a dining reservation in the main dining hall.
 
May 21 - Day 8: Port of Arrival
Arrive in Galveston, Texas at 6:30 a.m.
