City News

Motion: 2018 Juried Exhibition

The 2018 Annual Juried Exhibition: Motion asks artists to look at the movement of travel in our city.

This exhibit will explore transportation in the everyday life of our community.

Movement through our city can be autonomous and self-directed, taking place on streets and trails, with feet or bicycles, often using designated routes to safely and affordably transition from point A to B.

It can be non-autonomous, using pre-designed and designated transportation vehicles such as buses, trains etc., often creating a unique engagement. Motion introduces a variety of connections to a variety of things, beings and place.

Submissions of original artwork created within the past three (3) years will be considered from professional, student and amateur artists.

Submission Deadline:
Monday June 25, 2018
