Germany@Canada Photo Contest

Are you a high school or university student who was in Germany this summer? If so, DAAD and Goethe-Institut Canada want your picture showing Canada in Germany for a chance to win a great prize! Staying at home? No problem, find some Germany in your Canadian summer scene and send us that photo for your chance to win too! Deadline: August 31, 2017.

Deadlines
Internship Opportunities at German Bundestag

Germany's national parliament, the Bundestag , has two internship programs open to citizens of Canada, both with imminent deadlines.

The EMGIP-Bundestag two-month internship program is accepting applications until September 15th, while the Bundestag's own Internationales Parlaments-Stipendium has an August 31st deadline for applications to its five-month internship program.

DAAD at University of Saskatchewan

The DAAD Information Centre Toronto will be on the campus of the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon to present information sessions on our scholarship and grant programs for students and faculty on the afternoon of Monday, September 18th .

The DAAD Information Centre Toronto will be on the campus of the University of Regina for faculty and student information sessions on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 19th .

These sessions will provide details on DAAD's suite of programs to support study, research and internships in Germany. All are welcome!
Research in Germany
DAAD Information Session at University of Alberta

The DAAD Information Centre Toronto will be on the campus of the University of Alberta for a Research in Germany information session on Friday, September 22nd from 1:45 to 3:00 pm . Full details here .

This session will provide an overview of the German research landscape and funding programs to support research activities in Germany and with German colleagues.
