DCASE is seeking proposals for professional development activities and creative services exhibitors for the 2017 Lake FX CreativeCon A.C.C.E.S.S. Labs - the new, industry showcase space and resource fair at Lake FX 2017. Creative industry leaders and organizations are able to connect with emerging and established artists through fun and informative one-on-one and small group activities. A.C.C.E.S.S. Labs take place on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22, 2017, between 10am and 4:30pm at the Chicago Cultural Center.   Apply to host an A.C.C.E.S.S. Lab at surveymonkey.com/r/ACCESS17

Mayor Rahm Emanuel and DCASE have designated 2017 the "Year of Public Art," and we are now accepting applications for the 50x50 Neighborhood Arts Project, which will provide up to $1 million to create new public artworks throughout the city's neighborhoods.   Artists--including painters, photographers and sculptors--interested in brightening and enhancing the city-- are invited to submit their qualifications for the project at cityofchicago.org/yopa. Applicant workshops will be held at the Chicago Cultural Center on January 23, 24 and 25.
