Free White Belt Training at Ivy Tech



Over the next couple of months, Ivy Tech's across Southeast Indiana will be offering FREE White Belt training. This training includes white belt certification!

Ivy Tech Community College Continuous improvement is integral to success in all types of organizations. In many areas of business and industry, today's workforce needs to be equipped in the basic tools of quality assurance, problem solving, understanding customer relations, project team work and eliminating waste. 

TRAINING OVERVIEW 

Ivy Tech Community College is offering a White Belt training course to help participants attain valuable skills employers seek. The skills and knowledge attained by completing the White Belt training class will be utilized in a business setting, healthcare, manufacturing and many other industries. 

COURSE DETAILS

 Ivy Tech's Certified Quality Trainers will teach this noncredit workshop. The final exam is a 30 minute test and will be administered at the end of the session.

Bright 74 Study Open House



Public Open House 
Wednesday, February 17, 2016 
4 p.m. - 7 p.m. 
East Central High School Performing Arts Center 
1 Trojan Place St. Leon, Indiana 47012 


This public event is the first in a series of three open house meetings held as part of the Bright 74 Study. The purpose of this first meeting is to gather input from those who know the area best -- residents and property owners, as well as others who use or are interested in the area. In addition, data related to traffic and safety in the study area will be shared.

In accordance with the American Disabilities Act, if anyone has a disability and requires assistance or, in accordance with the Limited English Proficiency Executive Order, requires translation services, please call Florence Parker at (513) 619-7686 or 800-750-0750 (Ohio Relay Service). 

The Bright 74 Study is being undertaken by the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments to identify multi-modal transportation needs, develop conceptual solutions and evaluate improvement alternatives for the area.
