March 16, 2017 - A One-Day Opportunity to Increase Your Support Of The DDG
Through An Amazon Purchase
The Dominican Development Group (DDG) has joined many other charities and non-profit organizations to participate in the Amazon Smile program, in which a percentage of purchases by Amazon customers who have selected the DDG as their designated charity goes to support the cost of the DDG's ongoing operations. This donation by Amazon does not increase the purchaser's cost of the products ordered.
Normally, the donated amount is 0.5% of the purchase price.
On Thursday, March 16, 2017, the percentage will be 5% of the purchase price, 10 times the normal donation rate. On March 17, the percentage returns to its usual 0.5%.
