Updated Directory Now Available Online
 

An updated directory of the clergy and the senior staff of the Episcopal Diocese of the Dominican Republic is now available online.

This directory includes all of the clergy transfers that were announced in August, 2015. In addition to the list of the clergy, the directory also has detailed listings of all of the churches, schools, and other facilities in the diocese, including telephone numbers.

Annual Reports of Companion Diocese Activities
 
A program from the Diocese of SW Florida provides Saturday lunches for children in Gautier.
The DDG is interested in making available the annual reports from the Companion Dioceses of mission activities in the Dominican Republic as a feature of the "Links" page within the DDG website. Two reports from 2015 are already posted there: Georgia and Southwest Florida. These reports are usually available as part of the annual convention proceedings in each diocese. Please send the link to reports like this to the address below and they will be added to this DDG resource page.

DDG Board Meeting in October 2015
 
The members of the DDG's Board of Directors will hold their next meeting in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on Monday, October 26, 2015. This meeting will be in conjunction with the annual convention of the Diocese of Western Louisiana, one of the companion dioceses of the Diocese of the Dominican Republic. Several board members will represent the DDG at that convention from October 23-24, and then will speak about the programs of the DDG and the Diocese of the Dominican Republic in area churches on Sunday, October 25. Final Call for the DDG Exploration Trip - November 2015
Here's the final call for the DDG-sponsored exploration trip from November 12-18, 2015. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, October 15. This trip is intended for mission team leaders who are looking for new work sites for their teams, or for anyone who is interested in an overview of many churches, schools, and other facilities in the Episcopal Diocese of the Dominican Republic. Complete sign-up details and a tentative trip itinerary are available here.
