Sign up sheets will be in the Narthex for ways to help with the Children's Ministry. We are asking church members to help in the following areas: AWANA (teacher or listener), Sunday School (teacher back-up), Music (Christmas program and/or bells). Please prayerfully consider how you can be a blessing to the children of our church and community because you know they will be a blessing to you!
Box Top Collections
The ladies in the Bible Study Group, Discerning the Voice of God, request your help in collecting box tops for Dadeville Elementary School. They will place shoe boxes around the church to make your donations easy.
Women's Bible Studies

Starts Sunday, August 6th for 7 weeks
(not meeting on Sunday, September 3rd)

This Bible study is for women of all ages. It is "Discerning the Voice of God" by Priscilla Shirer. Books are $10.00.
             Having a hard time knowing what God is saying versus what others are saying? This Bible study is designed to help participants know the voice of God: His language, character, and tone of voice. By growing closer to God through His Word, participants will be able to discern God's voice from the voice of strangers.

Tallapoosa County DHR is excited to announce fall classes for Foster Parent Training.

Prayer Breakfast

Our prayer breakfast program will start on Friday, September 8th. We provide a breakfast feast for our Dadeville High School students, but more importantly, we pray for them and with them. Please make plans to join us and help out where you can: set up at 5:30 AM, serve at 6:30 AM, and clean-up at 7:00 AM. Future prayer breakfasts will be held at our church on September 29th and October 27th.

We will be sharing together Sharon Jaynes' book, "Take Hold of the Faith you Long for"...Let Go, Move Forward, Live Bold. Books are $9.13.
     God is the path to living boldly, bravely, and beautifully and we are challenged to let go of our weaknesses and trade them for God's strengths. The book is filled with biblical depth, relatable stories, and practical strategies. It is a declaration of truth and freedom for every battle-worn believer. Each chapter has a Bible Study Guide intended to take you deeper into God's Word to discover more about how to take hold of the faith you long for.

Church Fun Day
Here's a date you want to place on your calendars now and make plans to attend DFUMC's Fun Day 2017, Sunday, September 24th from 1:30 - 7:00 PM at Camp ASCCA! There will be fun and activities for all ages. . . and the camp is wheelchair accessible. Rides to the camp will be available in the church van. Fun will begin at 1:30 PM, but you can join us at any time. Activities include: ball games on the ball field, putt putt golf with adult supervision for little ones, rock painting, walking trails, fishing, tennis, and frisbee golf! In case of rain, we will have a movie handy. At 5:00 PM, we will enjoy hot dogs and hamburgers at the Out Post, followed by music and Vespers! So bring your blankets, chairs, fishing poles, tennis rackets, frisbees, and whatever else you think you might want and join in the fun!
