BYOBee is the first ever Trivia Spelling Bee fundraiser to benefit DOORWAYS.

With 8 rounds of novelty jargon and themed vocabulary, you can test your knowledge of trivia and spelling as you support sustainable housing for those affected by HIV/AIDS.
Similar to a traditional St. Louis trivia night, each team will submit an answer sheet (or in this case spelling test) with their submissions for that round. You wont Beelieve the fun you'll have!

Three DOORWAYS staff members attended the first Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) Institute held last week at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida.
The three-day event, hosted by HUD's Office of HIV/AIDS Housing, focused on formula modernization and addressing financial management, monitoring, indirect costs, rental assistance, and supportive services.

The conference theme was "25 Years Strong in the Fight Against HIV: Housing's Role in Ending the HIV Epidemic."

The HOPWA program was established by HUD to fund services that specifically benefit low-income persons medically diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. HOPWA funding provides housing assistance and related supportive services as part of HUD's Consolidated Planning initiative. This focus on providing housing assistance and related support services for HOPWA-eligible clients serves to reduce the risk of homelessness and increase access to appropriate healthcare and other support.
