There is a real reason for celebrating - here is mine: Giving Honor to God who is first in my life – for whom I am thankful for all of my life. I give to His Son, my humble "thank you" for allowing me to live my life with the many unwrapped presents of life. I thank Him and take none of His gifts for granted. In the celebration of the Lord's Son's birthday, my best present to Him would be to honor in his words and share His many blessings with others to worship, and to have faith without question; to tell my brothers and sisters how many times Jesus has saved me from destruction from giving up, that God and His Son have always been on time, not just when I wanted them but never late – always on time through the 38 years of being a business, not knowing the many challenges, and how was I going to see my way through. Mentally I threw in the towel and Jesus threw the towel back at me and said, "It is not your time to give up, forge ahead my son – you are tired, not I. I will be your strength and I will take your next steps." Jesus has given me what no human being could ever! I know my reason for praying to Him, to thank Him, and share Him. Please do not get lost in American commercialization of His birthday. Remember: He gave his only begotten Son so we can live – and share. What a Joy!!! - Angelo A. Ellerbee
