OC Parks Experiment

Boaters may have recently seen OC Parks Rangers traveling around inside the harbor in one of two small boats, moving those "air dancers" around click to read more and otherwise striving to be helpful to the community the way park rangers do. For now, this is just an experiment. We'll let you know how this turns out.

Dana Point Historical Association Invitation: "Time Capsule Memories"

Your Dana Point Boaters Association is very happy to pass along the following invitation:

The Dana Point Historical Association invites the members of the Dana Point Boaters Association to our "Time Capsule Memories" meeting this Wednesday, October 26th, 2016 at 7:00PM. Please see the attached invitation click here, to your members and anyone who may be interested in the DP Harbor Time Capsule contents and our harbor's history.

We do have additional souvenir programs and tote bags if any of your members were present and didn't receive one because of the large number of people who attended on August 29th. The Time Capsule exhibit will be in the DPHS Museum through January, 2017.

If any of your members would like to relate memories of the first boats entering the harbor etc. we would love to hear them at the meeting.

The Dana Point Boaters Association advocates the preservation, enhancement, and expansion of affordable recreational boating resources. We work to improve the family friendly atmosphere and breadth of water-oriented actives we all enjoy in the harbor. We serve as the watchdog by ethically protecting the rights of all boaters and representing them when collective action is most effective. We actively gather information and communicate our views to educate boaters, external interests, and public officials. We build and maintain constructive, working relationships to achieve common goals with other harbor stakeholders. We will pass on our harbor to the next generation of recreational boaters in better condition than it is today.
