The Dana Point Harbor Advisory Board has returned its first round of comments to the County on the Harbor Revitalization plans submitted so far by the developer, Dana Point Harbor Partners (DPHP). Most of the materials provided so far by the County and DPHP have pertained to the waterside marina redevelopment and operating plans. So naturally, most of the feedback offered by the DPH Advisory Board to the County was boater-focused and based on input from our Dana Point Boaters Association. As Harbor Revitalization plans are provided to the DPH Advisory Board for public review, our DPBA leadership undertakes close scrutiny of the plans on behalf of our boating community; we will continue to analyze and respond to the materials as they become available.

On Monday, October 22, the DPH Advisory Board will host another public presentation by the County and DPHP on their latest plans for our harbor. The meeting will take place at 5:00pm at the Ocean Institute. Please plan to attend to hear directly from the team which will redevelop our harbor and operate it for the next 66 years.
