Classes at the Dancing Soul
Emer Dunne
Emer Dunne will be presenting a class showing how essential oils effect the brain for emotional health. There are specific oils for Depression, anxiety, memory loss, addictions and stress and head injuries . See the olfactory system in the Brain directly effects the Limbic system which controls your emotions. Smells can release chemicals in your brain like serotonin, Oxytocin and dopamine which all determine your emotional health. Emer has been studying and using doTERRA essential oils f or the last 3 years and incorporates them into her work as a Physical Therapist and Chakradance facilitator.
Chakradance is a form of meditation through movement. Chakras are wheels of energy located on the spine. Each chakra is co related to a major organ or nervous system in the body. If you are feeling stressed, stuck in a rut and have low self worth and no direction in life, it may indicate a blockage in your chakras.
  • private class on essential oils will take place on Tuesday March 6th at 7.30pm in the Dancing Soul for just €5 and you will get a workbook explaining exactly how to use each oil and experience them that affect the brain.
  • Emer is also taking bookings for Physical Therapy or private chakra balancing meditations using doTERRA essential oils.

Facebook Bootcamp for Therapists
Many newly qualified Therapists and coaches as well as experienced ones, have excellent skills that can help people with the physical, emotional or life problems that they face, but have not been trained in how to reach these people, especially not on social media
I started out the same way. I tried everything and spent lots of money doing so. But I tracked everything I did and compared success rates. I simply carried on doing what worked. I have now gone from wondering where my next client was coming from, to being booked out year-round with a month’s waiting list.
None of this happened by luck. And it was social media, specifically Facebook, that made the difference. Many are turned off by, or scared of the idea of using Facebook, but it is not as difficult or time-consuming as they think. At this full day seminar, I will be sharing with you my strategies and systems to help you use FB to build success for yourself. This doesn’t require you to be a rocket scientist either, I am nothing special! These are all easy-to-use ways that worked for me, are continuing to work for many therapists and coaches and can work for you too.

Affordable Counselling
Affordable Counseling Service
Counselling is for anyone who wants and needs support, perhaps at a time of crisis or otherwise, who is unhappy with his or her present circumstances and hopes for change. It is a valuable aid to personal growth and can help the individual develop assertiveness and self-confidence and improve their sense of well-being.
For Therapists
Dear Therapist,

I am researching humanistic / integrative psychotherapists’ experiences of personally significant, traumatic bereavement due to homicide, suicide or accident: its perceived impact on their personal lives and professional practice as part of my MSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy research project through Turning Point Institute. There is very little research in this area, particularly from the perspectives of humanistic practitioners.

If you are an accredited, practicing, humanistic or humanistic/integrative psychotherapist with a minimum of two year’ post-qualifying experience, who, since qualifying as a therapist, has experienced the sudden death of a significant person in your life due to a homicide, suicide or fatal accident I would be grateful for your participation.

If your bereavement is recent, i.e. in the past eighteen months or if you have had other significant personal bereavements, I will not be inviting you to take part, so as to avoid causing you undue distress.

If you fit the criteria and would like to take part in this study, you will be asked to participate in an hour long one-to-one interview with the researcher at a mutually convenient time and place in the coming weeks. If you are interested in taking part and would like further information about the study, please contact me at  j.heduan@umail.ucc.ie

(Even if you are not eligible to take part, but know of any therapists who might be eligible and interested in taking part in this research, I would be grateful if you would forward this email to them).

Thank you in advance,
Joan Heduan
