Homecoming & 60th anniversary celebration
Daytona State College wrapped up its 60th anniversary celebration with a special homecoming that had a little something for everyone. The four-day extravaganza on the Daytona Beach Campus attracted Falcons of all ages - past, present and future - to enjoy festivities that included a car show, a fun run, sporting events, a tailgate party at DSC's new soccer stadium, a culinary boot camp, a Mr. and Ms. DSC pageant and much more. >>>

Mr. & Ms. DSC Pageant 2017
Celebrating the talent and college spirit of DSC students, the Student Government Association presented the 2nd annual Mr. & Ms. DSC Pageant on Oct. 18. An array of students with diverse interests and talents entertained a full house at the Hosseini Center, cheered on by friends and family. The winners, Mark Poole and Imani Severin, will carry on the tradition of representing SGA and the student body at college functions. >>>

Over $150,000 raised for student scholarships
On Nov. 8, the Daytona State College Foundation's 2017 Diamond and Silver Gala marked two milestones for the institution - 60 years as a leader in education service for Volusia and Flagler counties and 25 years of community generosity that has funded scholarships for students and programs needed by the college. This year's sold-out event recognized community leaders and highlighted distinguished alumni representing the thousands of students who have graduated from Daytona State. >>>
