Updates From Your Principal

NicoleAssisi Hello Da Vinci Families,

I hope you are all having a fantastic week. CSTs are well on their way and I am excited to announce that thanks to the diligence of our families and students, we feel confident that we will meet our state-required attendance targets.  We are all working hard to show the state that homeschool-hybrid programs rock and successfully meet the needs of so many kids and families!

Speaking of something that rocks, we are excited to offer both academic and extra-curricular summer school programs! Your child should have come home with a packet of what is available. If you were unable to find it in the black-hole that can be a child's backpack, you can also find the info on the resource site:  www.davinciK8.org.

Additionally, we are thrilled with the turnout at the Curriculum Fair! Many of you have shared your enthusiasm withCpicking curriculum and the possibility of receiving it early. Of course, there are still details to be worked out in regards to what we will do for our students who move faster and need mid-year shifts. While we have not worked out all the details for next year, we are excited to get the resources into your hands and to once again respond to your requests and needs in proactive ways.  Remember forms are due on Friday and you can check out www.davincik8.org for descriptions if you need to take another look.

On that note, we would like to invite you once again to take our DVIA survey. As you may recall, we send out a survey every semester and based on your responses we do our best to continually improve our program to meet the needs of our families. Please take this opportunity to provide us with what is working or what else you need. Please click on this link http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/spring2013DVIA

With much gratitude,
Nicole
