Mark your calendars for the long awaited opening of the library's Rymackees Caf on Monday, February 2 from 8am to 7pm. The Caf has been in the planning stages for a long time and we're happy to finally have the doors open for business.

Along with the caf opening, you'll see a change to the main floor with some new artwork. For the next year, we will participate in the 2015 Accessible Art Series offered through the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut. Initiated in 2014, the program has expanded to 18 regional artists exhibiting in 12 sites in downtown Danbury and other locations. Artist Dayna Wenzel will be the first featured artist to exhibit in the library with her 3-dimensional "Wall sculptures" from January 26 through March 26. We hope you'll come and enjoy the artwork.
