Dear Girl Scout Family

When I was a kid, hanging out at the roller skating rink was "the thing" to do on Saturday night. We would time our feet and hips to the beat of "Dancing Queen" while the disco ball flashed brilliant colors around the room.  Fun times...it makes me smile that another generation is getting introduced to this fun, healthy activity.

On November 16, just a couple of weeks away, Girl Scouts is kicking off our first Girls Night Out program in Superior, Wisconsin. It's being held at World of Wheels in Duluth and includes a roller derby presentation by the Harbor City Roller Dames (an all female roller derby club), plus dance music, games, a craft, and roller skating into the wee hours.
(I wonder if they still play "Dancing Queen"?)

There's a "sneak peek" evening program for girls in grades K-3 for only $8. Grades 4-12 costs $30 (and includes the overnight).

Check out all 5 Girls Night Out events and the different activities for each in our Program Events and Activities Guide on our website.  You'll also get to view the other activity choices happening around the council.

Thanks,

Tauna
