Dance with Rhythm & Motion and ODC School in the 2014 SF Pride Parade on Sunday, June 29!
 
As the SF Pride Parade marches into is 44th year, we celebrate 35 years of dance in San Francisco and beyond! Our award-winning contingent will perform three fun, energetic routines celebrating diversity, community, and the joy of dance. Learn the routines in Rhythm & Motion classes throughout the month of June and at two pre-parade rehearsals.

Here's your chance to dance your heart out for an enthusiastic crowd, through the center of the city with your Rhythm & Motion and ODC School community. Our contingent is open to all - invite your friends and family to join or volunteer!

Move a Teen to Dance

May is "Move a Teen to Dance" Month at ODC. Your donation in any amount can help more teens gain access to dance at ODC. You can direct your gift to the Dudley Flores Scholarship Fund, the Augusta Moore Scholarship Fund, or to the General Youth and Teen Fund. Plus, your contribution will be matched during the month of May.

Artistry Matters: Educational Fundraising Campaign for
Amara T. Smith

Congratulations, Amara! Amara Tabor Smith has been accepted into a unique program offered by Hollins University that allows her to apply her life experience in dance toward the attainment of an accredited MFA degree. Artistry Matters is an organization founded by Rhythm & Motion students and others to support the arts and artists and dancers. This group has organized an educational fundraising campaign, including an event this Sunday, to support Amara in attaining her MFA degree. 

ODC Theater Presents Walking Distance Dance Festival 

May 30 - 31, 2014

ODC Theater, San Francisco, CA

 

Headmistress, featuring Rhythm & Motion instructor Amara Tabor-Smith, will perform as part of Program A on Friday night. Dudley Flores, Rhythm & Motion artistic director, will perform with Garrett+Moulton Productions in Program B on Saturday afternoon. Now in its seventh year, choreographers Todd Eckert and Nol Simonse return to Dance Mission Theater with their popular Shared Space season. These artists consistently create lively dance concerts with broad audience appeal, featuring some of the Bay Area's finest performers - among them Dudley Flores.  

    

Rhythm & Motion is honored to partner with our sister company ODC. Our home base is the  ODC Dance Commons, a creative campus made up of ODC Company, Theater, School, and Rhythm & Motion Dance Program, located in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District. The Rhythm & Motion Dance Workout Program is also offered at the Richmond Ballet in Virginia and at Motion Pacific in Santa Cruz, Calif. in proud partnership with these organizations
