May 2017 Newsletter
null From the director...

Cornwall was hopping with activity this past weekend. While Little League had its annual parade and festive opening day - the Cornwall Public Library celebrated Earth Day with Dig in the Dirt Day - to weed and seed our lovely library garden with the kids. We found snakes, got muddy, planted, hoed and had a blast. Our first Repair Café was a great success and left people wanting more. It's a neighbor-helping-neighbor program that brought free repairs to everything from broken lamps to DVD's players on the fritz, to computers, musical instruments, clothing in need of mending and the jewelers made our rings sparkle brighter and fixed broken necklaces too. Sunday brought another live-streamed Lincoln Center performance "From Bocelli to Barton," a memorial opera program in honor of Lorraine Weinberg. It was a classy afternoon with beautiful music, delicious treats and great company. This is your library! There's something for everyone here. Your support keeps us going strong. Thank you!
