"Denver Academy opened the door to our son's future.  The financial assistance from DA made a difference in his life beyond what words could say.  It gave us our son back
...and for that we will be eternally grateful."

--Parents of an 11th grade student

You can make a difference for students like these by attending DA's biggest party of the year. Join us in celebrating the transformation and triumph of our extraordinary students while enjoying cocktails, shopping, delicious food and declaring "Mission: Possible" with an inspirational program. All net proceeds from this event go directly to the Denver Academy Tuition Assistance Program.

Parent Education Series: Structure for a Great Summer

Does your child want to "hang out" indoors watching movies or eating junk food all summer? Explore the intersection of structure and freedom when parenting children, tweens and adolescents over the summer months. How much time should you allow your child to play, relax and socialize vs. participate in family activities, chores or work opportunities?

Learn how to use your child or adolescent's strengths to offer the most autonomy while also maintaining enough structure to support their safety and growth. Leave armed with new information and parenting skills for a great summer.

Say Yes to the Yes! Program yes program
Denver Academy will be joining the team of the Yes! Program. We are honored to be the first school to have  its very own branch on our campus. The Yes! Program is a program for students who are diagnosed with a reading disability, such as dyslexia, to learn to advocate for themselves, find their creativity and their true passion and bliss as a learner. The Yes! Program honors the students through their creativity and courage.

We have two great ambassadors, Emma
Hans en  and Kayla Kelley, to lead our group. There will be four organized events with the larger Yes! Program, as well as additional activities that Denver Academy's ambassadors will plan for our campus group. If your child is interested in applying, please contact Tammy Curran for more  information. Activities will begin next fall with a kick-off party for all of Denver Academy's Yes! members.
