December 2016
Dear library friends,

Gratitude is the key word at this time of year. We are grateful for our many volunteers who have worked so hard to help us with fundraising, serve on our boards, promote literacy, prepare income taxes, and assist us with many tasks here in the library! We are so fortunate to have a great army of people who assist us in so many different capacities...we are in good company indeed and our community benefits!
Volunteers are an essential piece of our puzzle...we had a breakfast recently to honor them. I am also grateful for our staff, as they make it a welcoming place to volunteer.
Thanks to numerous local businesses for their gift donations to our volunteers for this event!
-- Monica Caruso, County Librarian

"Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson
