PUBLIC UTILITIES REMINDER

Sewer bills are based on the average water usage from December, January, and February. Please remember to notify LPU (512) 556-3641 if you have any leaks during that time.

LAMPASAS POLICE DEPARTMENT REMINDER

The Lampasas Police Department would like to encourage citizens and visitors to lock their vehicles and/or remove all valuables to avoid being a victim of theft. Their reported vehicle burglaries have slightly increased during the lasts 6 months. In almost all cases, the vehicles are left unlocked and the thieves take money and small electronic (phones) devices.

Photo-of-the-Month Contest: Enter our photo-of-the-month contest by visiting www.cityoflampasas.com for contest rules and emailing your photo to photocontest@cityoflampasas.com . The City Council will announce the monthly winning photo at the first regular City Council meeting. Winners will receive a City of Lampasas insulated tumbler w/straw and posting of their photo on the web site.

Can You Be Located In An Emergency? The owner of every house or building within the City is required to have a house number placed there on that is readily visible from the public right-of-way on which the structure fronts or faces. The numbers shall be a minimum of three inches in height and contrast with the background on which they are placed, made of material that will not tarnish, corrode or deteriorate unreasonably. Not only will this assist emergency personnel but the US Postal service as well.
