Hurricane Matthew updates

Like so many others in our community, Washington Oaks was affected by Hurricane Matthew on October 7th, 2016.  After 6 weeks of on-going clean-up, our park looks as beautiful as ever!  Due to damages requiring long-term action plans for recovery, our beachside remains closed until further notice.

Below is a link to additional photos of the damage and clean-up effort which followed.

Park resources have been reallocated to the clean-up, and therefore our HOLIDAY IN THE GARDENS event will not occur this year.  We thank-you all for the support, and look forward to holding the event again in 2017.

Winter Solstice  Celebration

This program will take place at the Intercoastal Waterway at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park.  Hot coffee will be provided.
