Colorado Gives Day a Huge Success for Douglas County Schools!
We are overwhelmed by the generosity of the DCSD community and Westerra Credit Union on Colorado Gives Day. Thanks to our amazing supporters the Foundation will be awarding over $22,500+ in Opportunity Grants this spring! This year, Westerra
generously stepped up to match donations made to the Foundation for Opportunity Grants, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000. 100% of donations will go directly back to schools through the Foundation's Opportunity Grants program.
Also, as part of the Colorado Gives Day campaign, six schools took community giving to the next level. They held dollar drives, encouraging students to bring one dollar to school on Colorado Gives Day. Cumulatively they raised over $2,000!
Thank you Saddle Ranch Elementary, Wildcat Mountain Elementary, Sedalia Elementary, Coyote Creek Elementary, Redstone Elementary, and Eagle Academy!
