Soul Tavern

1801 West Avenue, Miami Beach, FL
305-925-0799
Nourishment takes many forms. We are fed through laughs, nurturing environments, human contact, passionate work, rest, art, community, and food. Traditionally, a tavern was a place we went for all these things. It was a community cornerstone for locals and visitors. Soul Tavern is resurrecting the tavern as it was a century ago-with soul-for the soul.

Fly a Fighter Jet

A fantastic L-39, sun and fun - that's what's waiting for you in Tampa, Florida. Get ready to take a Florida Fighter Jet Instruction Flight in the L-39 Albatros military jet right above the gulf of Mexico. This L-39 jet is also used by the Russian cosmonauts and fighter pilots for training. It is a perfect trainer. Students will get the opportunity to fly this exciting and responsive jet under the close supervision of flight instructors. No flight experience is needed to take part in a fighter jet training flight.

Wakeboarding and Wakesurfing

Miami Wake Academy was born from a love of watersports and Miami's lack of quality watersports coaching. We have experience teaching five-year-olds to 65-year-olds and everyone in between. Our small owner operated company brings you the personal touch that makes a huge difference compared to waterpark style companies that treat their riders impersonally due to the corporations disconnect from riders.

Personal Speedboat Tour

Experience the adventure of a lifetime on our Speed Boat Adventure Tour. A guided and narrated Tour of Biscayne Bay with a twist. You are able to navigate and captain your own speedboat for the entirety of the tour while following our trained and knowledgeable guides to experience the best of both worlds - the THRILL of driving your own speedboat, and the safety of having a skilled guide introduce you to the beauty of Miami's Biscayne Bay.

Mountain Biking on beautiful Virginia Key

Located on the north end of Virginia Key, the mountain trail was built by hand through volunteers from the Virginia Key Bike Club (VKBC) with resources provided by the City of Miami. The trails have been built to allow all levels of bicyclists access to the opportunity to be surrounded by nature and water (Biscayne Bay) in the heart of Miami while getting the thrills of mountain biking.

COOL APPS
ACTually!
A fun app that lets you act out scenes with friends. Each "actor" gets a line and time limit. They need to record their best reading with their phone and send out their scenes. When everyone is ready, the app stitches the clips together and makes all the takes play together in a coherent scene!

Patch: Smart Portrait Editor
A way to mimic the iPhone 8 portrait mode, without an iPhone 8. Patch is great for automagically creating the background blur, no matter what the object is (it doesn't have to be a face). It pretty much never gets it exactly right, but you can mask out the parts that you do or don't want blurred after it automatically applies the effect.

Temi
A speech-to-text engine that transcribes spoken word fairly well and lets you edit the text afterwards. You can open the transcript on a mobile device or even on PC via a web version and navigating around it is easy, as the text is synced to the original audio.

The Miami Beach EDITION
Jessica, the concierge, was amazing at helping us choose the city's best Farm to Table restaurants who could handle some food allergies that I have.

FAENA
Rosa, at the concierge desk, a total asset. She got us a reservation at a restaurant totally booked for days.

1 Hotel
Keston, the concierge, saved our vacation last time. American airlines lost my bags and weren't being receptive and were very hard to get in touch with. He saw I had a dilemma and offered to help. I looked at him like " good luck ", not expecting him to get anywhere . within minutes he had them on the phone and the problem was resolved .

The Setai
Ask everything to Maïte, the Clef d'Or Chef Concierge and she will find the hidden jewels of the City for you.
