Congratulations IL State Scholars
Resurrection College Prep High School is pleased to announce the fourteen members of the Resurrection Class of 2018 who have been named Illinois State Scholars in recognition of their outstanding academic achievement. Approximately the top ten percent of graduates from approved high schools are announced as State Scholars each year. Rankings are based on a combination of ACT test scores and GPA at the end of the sixth semester in high school.

Mandatory Cash Raffle
The final drawing will be held on December 8, 2017, for $2,500. Please submit ticket stubs and payment as you sell your tickets. Each school family is required to fulfill a $200 Mandatory Fundraising Fee by selling Cash Raffle Tickets. Tuition Assistance families MUST sell these tickets and turn in $200 or more before the final drawing on December 8, 2017, in order to receive their full Tuition Assistance. Non Tuition Assistance families that choose NOT to sell tickets will be billed for $200 on their February 2018 tuition statement. Your UNSOLD tickets must be returned and you will NOT be entered into any of the drawings.
Turn in all tickets and payment no later than Thursday, December 7, 2018.

Spring Play Auditions
Tryouts for the Resurrection Spring production of
Peter and the Starcatcher will be
held on
Monday, December 11 from 3:15 to 6 pm at Resurrection's Little Theater. All are welcome to attend!
There will be an optional audition workshop for the music portion of the audition on
Tuesday, December 5 from 3:20 to 4:30 pm
for all those interested.
V-Show Tryouts
Tryouts for the
V-Show are on

Thursday, December 14 from 3 to 5 pm. Students who would like to try out (all acts and emcees) should use the Google Form Sign-Up that was posted to Schoology. Some ideas for acts are singing, dancing, acting, emcees, or any other special talents. If you have any questions, please see Student Council moderators Ms. Stieber or Ms. August.

FACTS Application
The application process for tuition assistance and scholarships begins in December of each year when the applications become available. The FACTS application is the application for tuition assistance and must be completed for any need-based scholarship opportunity as well.
FACTS applications are due back to the FACTS company before their
January 8, 2018 deadline.

Juniors & Class of 2019 Parents
ACT Prep Registration Reminder
To help students prepare for the ACT, we provide an optional class at Resurrection for any interested 11th grader. While the content is addressed in the standard curriculum, some students benefit from a more formal review course. Registration materials were provided to you at the Junior Parent Meeting or with your daughter's practice ACT test scores.
As a reminder, the deadline to register is TODAY, Friday, December 1, 2017.
Test prep sessions begin on Saturday, February 10, 2018 and the cost is $100 per student for 6 sessions. The registration form is available

Recruiting News
During our recruiting season we hosted two successful Open Houses with record breaking attendance, we welcomed nearly 300 8th-grade girls as shadows during our scheduled Shadow Days, and our staff and Student Ambassadors visited over 50 schools in classroom visits and at high school fairs. We also hosted numerous academic and athletic events for junior high girls and we reached out to countless prospective students and their families.
