December 2017

Dear Concordia Alumna/us,

We have been planning this packed weekend for a long time! It has been a festive week watching the Manor transformed into a beautiful Christmas home, seeing the tents go up for the Christkindlmarkt vendors on the grounds, observing the greenhouse as it comes back to life for the market, and taking in the lights, sounds and movement in the Boar's Head Festival rehearsals. As you look forward to a renewed celebration of Christ's birth, we wish you a blessed holiday and invite you to stop by the campus if you're in Ann Arbor!

In His Service,

Laura

"A Manor Christmas" Historic Earhart Manor Tours
& Christkindlmarkt

Pack your family and friends in the car and come to campus this weekend for A Manor Christmas! The historic Earhart Manor will be alive with creative holiday room designs by local decorators and florists. Entertainment from choirs to strings and brass to keyboards will fill the air. Children will find all kinds of arts and crafts and take their own holiday decorations home. There will be food and vendors selling Christmas and gift wares at the outdoor Christkindlmarkt. Costumed folk will greet you and might sing for you, too! If you stay long enough, you may get a peak and maybe a seat (tickets available at the Kreft Center box office) at the Boar's Head Festival. Visit the website for more information about this weekend's events.

A Milestone Year for the CUAA Football Program

This year was turnkey for the CUAA football program. After seven years of fielding a team and four years of putting numbers in the win column, the program achieved another first by making the first round of the NAIA Football Championship Series. Read more here about the playoff game against Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia and the team's road to the finals.
