2016 Annual Appeal
We rely on your generous support!

Dear Family + Friends,

With the help of so many of you, the Society of Arts and Crafts moved to our new home in Boston’s Seaport District, beginning a new era in our history.

Our new space could not be more different from our old and we now have room for everything: our shop, our exhibitions, a library, and our offices. We also have space for programming, workshops, and meetings.

And now, with all the boxes unpacked, we will begin working on new programming made possible by our new space. What do we have in mind?

+  Artists-in-residence to bring our exhibitions to life
+  Workshops to provide hands-on experiences
+  Demonstrations by leading artists
+  Lectures, panel discussions, and more…

We hope you will join us in expanding our programming to fill our new space with people and events. Your support for the Society is more important than ever as we hire the staff needed for these efforts and continue our reach into the community.

We deeply appreciate your support and we look forward to seeing you in 2017.

Warm Regards,

Fabio J. Fernández, Executive Director

Special Shoutout to Our Mentees!
Society of Arts + Crafts offers a Mentorship Program for craft artists who may be new to the world of craft shows. This two-year program assists makers with booth design, marketing, pricing, legal issues, and more. We are ecstatic for our two, award-winning mentees! Taima Krayem (left) is a first-year mentee and won the Distinction in Furniture award in her very first show ever. Heather Dawson (right) is a second-year mentee and received the Artist's Choice Award in her second show. We are tremendously proud of these two ladies, as well as our other program participants.
The Board of Trustees and Staff here at the Society extend to you our warmest holiday wishes. We appreciate your support and interest. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy 2017.
