Direct Your Tax Credit to Helping Families
Give the gift of hope! When you give to AZA United, you provide direct support to kids and families affected by autism. Through the Arizona Charitable Organization Tax Credit, when you give to AZA United, you will receive a 100% refund for the donation you made when you file your taxes. The Charitable Organization Tax Credit CAN be combined with other tax credits, such as the private and public/charter school tax credits.
Arizona donors will receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit up to $400 for individuals and $800 for married couples. Donations to AZA United are also tax-deductible on your federal tax returns.
This holiday season, your donation can go even further! The Abbett Family Foundation will generously match donations up to $50,000.
To donate, please visit or call 602-773-5773. Thank you!

New Blog - Changes to the ECA Program
By Olivia Fryer, Outreach Coordinator

The Early Childhood Autism Specialized Habilitation (ECA) program has recently undergone some changes that families need to be aware of in order to receive the services most appropriate for their child(ren).

If you're asking yourself what is ECA all about, this service is based on the model of Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI), which involves Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ECA was formerly known has "Hab-M."

AZA Magical Holidays
Families came together to celebrate the holidays at the offices of AZA United. It was a magical evening full of crafts, games and goodies-healthy and sweet! Even good old Saint Nick was there to enjoy the festivities! Each family was able to visit with Santa in a stress free environment, without having to wait in long lines surrounded by sensory overload. Santa greeted each child and posed for as many pictures as necessary to capture the perfect shot. AZA understands that visits with Santa can be intimidating for children on the spectrum and we strive to make sure that each year families have the opportunity to make lasting holiday memories. Sibshops is Back!
Sibshops is set to return from holiday hiatus on Saturday, January 6th
from 10 AM to noon.
Sibshops is a program designed to focus on siblings of children with special needs. The program is intended for children ages 7 to 14 years old. It is important for siblings to have a safe place where they can express their feelings, while feeling supported by their peers. Children participating in the groups develop long lasting friendships. Sibshops give attention to siblings so that they understand that they are special and unique in their own way.
Sibshops will be held on the first Saturday of each month from 10AM to noon. For questions or to register, please contact Sibshops facilitator, Lauren Bolander at

Important Reminder
The offices of AZA United will be closed from December 22 nd through December 25 th. Our offices will also be closed from December 29th through January 1 st, 2018.
