godwits

Have you met our two interns yet?

Maybe you noticed our job posting for a JV intern earlier this fall, and if not Angela Haas and Patricia Sendao sure did and thanks to them our intern program is now official and in full gear.
We've recruited interns with good energy, intellect and talent over the past years, but never before have we had two at once or a plan to offer an expanded  internship program. Patricia and Angela will be working with us through January and have already been a tremendous asset to JV programs.  We are so grateful for their dedication, skill and contributions  and pleased to provide real-world, valuable training for these budding conservation professionals.

Angela completed her BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in Santa Barbara. Her love affair with birds started when she spent weeks following tropical species through the cloud forest in Costa Rica to watch them steal food from army ants. A year from now, she hopes to be studying birds in an MS conservation program.

  Patricia arrived in the Bay
  Area just a few weeks
before interviewing with us.
She completed her degree in
Geography at Bard College
and is interested in
restoration ecology.

If you would like to intern with the JV, feel free to send your resume to us any time or watch for future announcements on our job board.
