We are very pleased that the upgrade to our ticketing system went smoothly this past weekend. Hats off to the whole team, especially our director of ticketing, Genevieve Shappell, for demonstrating true team work and accomplishing an enormous task in a relatively short amount of time.  With all change, there are usually some bumps. Some people have mentioned that they still get the message that appeared while we took our system offline for the upgrade last weekend.  If you have any issues purchasing tickets online, please clear your cache.  Our box office is happy to help you from 10am-6pm, Monday through Friday in person or 877.571.SHOW (7469). In the coming weeks, look for special messages in your online account, and feel free to edit your preferences as well.

It really is time to start thinking ahead to the holidays...and it could be the perfect way to think cool thoughts on a hot day!  On that note, we're happy to announce the return of Keith Lockhart during the Boston Pops Holiday Concert December 4 at 8pm generously sponsored by The Hanover Insurance Group Foundation Inc. This holiday favorite is back by popular demand, with tickets on sale now for members before going on sale to the public next Tuesday at 10am.

Troy Siebels' extravagant production of A Christmas Carol, generously sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is full of cheer, talent, beauty and music to lift everyone's spirits.  We are all proud of this show as one of the best things the theatre does, artistically as well as a member of our community.  The show is on sale to the public today, with many accessibility options.  Audiences of all ages rave about Troy's adaptation of this timeless tale of redemption.  Kids and students are always half price, so the whole family can share in the joy and magic of this experience.  Find out more about our special performances, including sensory friendly, ASL, and enhanced audio descriptive services, as well as a VIP reception to benefit Worcester Community Action Council

If you are interested in alternative medicine and mind-body healing, then you'll want to make sure you see Deepak Chopra, the world-renowned speaker and author on the subject.  Perhaps you remember him from his frequent appearances on the Oprah Winfrey Show, or perhaps he caught your attention as the doctor for many celebrities.  Either way, he's coming to the theatre in November.  Every attendee receives his new book, and he will be staying after his presentation to sign them.  This evening promises to be very special, and our Franklin Square Society members will receive an exclusive invitation for the event. Tickets are available now for all membership levels before they will be available to the public next Tuesday at 10am.

That's it for this week, but keep an eye on your e-mail, because there's a lot more to announce over the summer months.

See you at the theatre,
