The Fight Against the State Takeover is Winning, but Your Help is Critical
11 Alive has reported that our lead continues to grow with 54 percent of voters opposed to Amendment #1 and 29 percent in support. However, this leaves 17 percent of Georgia voters as undecided, and they can swing the vote either way. Because of the misleading ballot language, voters without prior knowledge of what the state takeover amendment entails are likely to vote for the amendment. We need your help to defeat Amendment #1. Victory is absolutely within reach, but we must all take steps over the next seven days to encourage voter turnout and encourage a NO vote on Amendment #1.
