Stallions in the Spotlight

Last Saturday night, the SFD Girls Soccer team gathered with members of the 1997 State Championship Team, after honoring them at halftime in Alumni Stadium. The 1997 team won the state championship that year by outscoring teams 115-5! We enjoyed having these Stallions back for a visit at DeSales.

Upcoming Events

Notre Dame of Columbus' Hesburgh Lecture "Giving a Last Lecture"
When: October 18 from 6:30pm to 8pm
Where: SFD Little Theatre
  • "Giving the Last Lecture" will be presented by Professor Hums. It is modeled after the original "Last Lecture" presented by Dr. Randy Pausch at Carnegie Mellon in 2007 several months before he died. "Last Lecture" asks the speaker to answer one question in the form of an engaging public lecture: "If this were your last time to address a group of students, what would you say?"  Please click here for more information about this free event.

Homecoming 2017
When: October 20
  • TRADITIONS MASS AND BREAKFAST 7 a.m. mass, with breakfast to follow at 8 a.m. An annual event where current students invite alums back to DeSales to celebrate mass and enjoy breakfast together.
  • FOOTBALL TAILGATE AND GAME 6:15 p.m. tailgate; 7:00 p.m. kickoff Alumni are invited to the 2017 Homecoming game to cheer on the Stallions as they play Winton Woods. All alumni are welcome to watch the game from a field-level view in the Alumni Tent, and enjoy Donatos pizza (generously donated by alumna Jane Grote Abell '84).
