Colonel Ron Poropatich spent 34 years in the U.S. Army assigned to posts such as Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command. Now he is the Executive Director of the Center for Military Medicine Research and Visiting Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Poropatich is also a Professor of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Science.
